GUIDE / IDENTITY AND ACCESS
Strong Facebook profiles for advertising: what actually matters
Strong, aged and warmed are terms found in searches and commercial descriptions, but they do not explain which task a person can perform. Start with the actual need: publishing to a Page, managing business assets or operating campaigns. A useful assessment concerns identity, authorization, access and security. A profile's age alone does not answer those questions.
Turn each label into a question
Do not compare promotional names as if they were technical specifications. Ask for an objective description of each claim, with context and evidence. When the definition remains vague, keep the information marked as unconfirmed instead of assigning a quality that has not been demonstrated.
| Expression | Useful question | What it does not establish |
|---|---|---|
| Strong profile | Which specific characteristic is being described? | Ad approval or freedom from restrictions. |
| Aged profile | Which age-related information can be checked? | Permission to manage a business. |
| Warmed profile | What does the term mean in this description? | Authentic identity or a legitimate procedure. |
| Profile for advertising | Which asset and task require access? | That another profile is necessary. |
Preserve the identity of the person doing the work
Meta states that a main profile should use the name the person goes by and prohibits identity misrepresentation. Organize work around identified people and authorized access. A commercial description does not justify taking on someone else's identity.
In your inventory, connect each activity to the real responsible person and the relevant business asset. A team does not need to collect personal passwords in a spreadsheet to know who manages a Page. The purpose is clear responsibility, not centralized credentials.
Check whether the gap is a profile, permission or setting
Illustrative example: a person can log into Facebook but cannot manage a client's Page. That does not demonstrate a need for a different profile. Identify the correct Page, the access owner and the intended activity. Record the displayed message and review the applicable permissions.
In another situation, a media buyer can work on the Page but cannot see the ad account listed for the project. These are separate assets. The assessment should address the missing item and required authorization, without assuming that access to one grants access to everything.
Protect access as you organize it
Meta recommends two-factor authentication and security review tools. Keep recovery methods under the responsible person's control. Review protection before increasing the number of projects that person manages.
- Define the task and asset before requesting permission.
- Use your own authorized session to review access.
- Keep passwords, codes and login sessions out of commercial conversations.
- Record responsible parties and unresolved issues without exposing personal information.
- Review permissions when the team or contract changes.
Address the stated issue when a restriction exists
Record the affected asset, the displayed message and when the issue began. Use the official support or review options available for the case. Do not treat acquiring another identity or asset as a way to bypass a restriction.
When requesting guidance, describe the activity, existing assets and access question. Do not send another person's documents or credentials. CHAMPX can clarify a commercial inquiry; this guide does not promise account recovery, advertising approval or campaign results. Keep the inquiry separate from any official platform review.
